A lovely fresh day today, with sunshine later in the day … time to look around the garden, check all of my projects, and see what’s out there …
Spotted an impressive-looking moth, am not a lepidopterist, so don’t know what it was … perhaps my friend Yvonne will know …
One of my Facebook friends has postulated that it’s a garden Tiger Moth – thankyou for that …!
My transplanted Stonecrop is growing well, and although it is *everywhere*, I love the architectural symmetry of the sphagnum moss on the stones … 🙂
Also a picture of Pearl wort alongside the Stonecrop, see the tiny spheres on the end of the stalks that look like pearls …
Also, a picture of my ‘Pretty Stones’ basket, harvested from walks everywhere around the island … I collect all pure white stones, or any gray stones with white seams in them, or anything that sparkles … I have become a human Magpie … 🙂
Also towards the bottom of the basket, a large chunk of red jasper that I’ve been planning to display, along with the other stones, in flower borders (that haven’t been dug yet) …
Four weeks ago, I planted six acorns … a long-term project … 🙂

There’s something about Oak trees … primitive, wild, almost sacred, in the druidic sense … Let’s see how they do, in our weather here …
