For anyone who has been phoning me over the past two weeks, I’m sorry the phone just rang, with no ansafone or anyone answering it.
This was because the phone line to my house was blown off the pole in the recent storms two weeks or so ago, and it has taken this long to get it put up again …!
It feels like christmas, my birthday, and a national holiday all rolled into one – the lack of connectivity always takes it out of me because I have to rely on other peoples networks and other ways of doing things …
Thank heavens for a mobile phone and 4G, I say … !
Anyway, normal service is resumed from now, until next storm at least …!
